CCAA’s Demo Artist August 24: Bunny Paivine

We look forward to having our August demo via Zoom with Bunny.  She will be demonstrating Illusions of Perfection…painting without a brush.

Bunny Paivine (pronounced like Ravine), is a retired High School Art teacher who taught for 30 years in Salinas. Most recently, she was teaching “Paint and Sip” classes at Sovino Wine Bar and Merchant in Monterey twice a month and painting classes twice a week at Prunedale Senior Center. She also belongs to the Monterey Bay Plein Air Painters Association.

Unfortunately we have to cancel our on-location meetings following directives from Monterey County in response to Covid19.  Our August demo will be “on-line,” as a Zoom call and recording.  Members will be notified of the Zoom link.

During non-Covid concerns, the Central Coast Art Association meets 6:30-8 pm at the El Estero Park, with a meet & greet time until 6:45 when announcements & the demonstration by the guest artist begins. Meeting/demonstration ends approximately at 8 pm.   777 Pearl St (next to Dennis the Menace Park), Monterey, the fourth Monday of each month (please check for holiday schedules). Attendance is free and open to the public.
