If you have any art books to donate (10 years old or less)\, please bring them. \nThis month we will feature a demo by Cyndy Davis who will be doing a presentation of her travel journals and how she turns them into large paintings. \nHere is her website so you can see some of her works: https://www.cynddavis.com/ \nAbout Cyndy Davis:\nI earned my Bachelors of fine arts degree and then a teaching credential. I taught art in the public schools for about 37 years which included Oklahoma\, California\, and Queensland\, Australia. I painted all through my career of teaching. I am now retired in Monterey\, California where I enjoy the outdoors art of plein air painting\, but my studio work allows me to tell my stories of places that I have been. My joy is painting\, but my constant is a pen or brush in one hand and a passport in the other.

Thanks to Jeff Corrigan and his network of librarians\, we are invited to paint at the Hopkins Marine Laboratory in Pacific Grove at 120 Ocean View Boulevard. \nYou can paint indoors (no oils) or outdoors\, with views from the windows or the back patios.
