Emily Hull-Parsons

Emily Hull-Parsons is an artist living and working in Carmel Valley, California. Her love of nature’s gentle shapes, the glow of light, and color all influence her work.

The sensuous shapes of coastal hills, the peaceful surge of the ocean and the energy of crashing waves are her “muse”.

Color evokes emotion. The abstract series, called HAPPY HOUR, is a break from her usual style. It says “I choose JOY!”. Allowing the viewer to interpret what they see and label what they choose.

“Where is that?” Or “What is that?” you might ask. It is a million images from a long life of experiences blended into this image you see before you on the canvas and in your imagination..
