Tamara Keiper

I’m a California artist who has been painting most of my life. I used to do murals and Architectural renderings but now mostly stick to plein air landscapes, portraits of people and pets, and special requests. I enjoy doing plein air competitions and painting people from life.

I am adept at quite a few mediums and choose the one best suited for the subject, size and time frame. If some one needs a painting next week I can paint in gouache, acrylic, pastel or watercolor; if in a month or longer, I will use oils if the client desires. I have shown and won awards in all the mediums.

My work is in the Ceres Gallery in Portsmouth, New Hampshire and the Reflections Gallery in Monterey CA.

I am a member of Monterey Bay Plein Air painters Association, Central Coast AA, Central CA AA, CA Art Club, Am Impressionist Soc and a founding member of Valley Sun Catchers. Living in the central valley of CA, I enjoy painting the agriculture, almond blossoms, mountains, and the central coast.
