CCAA Member Meet-up and Demo

Please join us at the Monterey Public Library for our October Member Meet-up. Non members are welcome so let your friends know about this. If you have any art books to donate (10 years old or less), please bring them.

This month we will feature a demo by Cyndy Davis who will be doing a presentation of her travel journals and how she turns them into large paintings.

Here is her website so you can see some of her works: https://www.cynddavis.com/

About Cyndy Davis:
I earned my Bachelors of fine arts degree and then a teaching credential. I taught art in the public schools for about 37 years which included Oklahoma, California, and Queensland, Australia. I painted all through my career of teaching. I am now retired in Monterey, California where I enjoy the outdoors art of plein air painting, but my studio work allows me to tell my stories of places that I have been. My joy is painting, but my constant is a pen or brush in one hand and a passport in the other.
