My art explores the interconnectedness of all things, not just nature, but emotions and life itself. I want viewers to engage with their senses, feel the urge to touch, and reconnect with emotions that are often suppressed.

My journey began in the garden, where I learned to trust unseen forces such as the microherds and worms to transform dead dirt into a thriving landscape. I work with fibers and stitch because I need that same visceral connection, like digging in the earth or pulling up a weed. The push and pull of working the soil is mirrored in my use of needle and thread. I start with no plan, collaborating intuitively with fibers. Layers build texture slowly and organically until stitches form something vibrant and alive.

Art grounds me in the present, and I hope my work inspires others to pause, reflect, and feel deeply. I want them to recognize nature in textures and layers and see how even the smallest contributions ripple outward to create profound change.
